If you’re a fan of cooking, vegetable gardening, fishing, failed small businesses, raising tiny humans, or bird hunting you’ve come to the right place. If you’re wondering what those things have to do with one another, you’ve also come to the right place. I started a food truck in 2017 with a 1977 grumman, something that resembled a business plan and Tom Petty’s “running down a dream” playing in the background (not kidding, my spotify wrapped from 2017 was that song and this one Bob Seger live album and little else). From there, I spent the next three years trying like hell to make it work and learning some valuable lessons along the way. After closing in October of 2020, I took some time to be a stay at home dad and figure out the next move. One of the things I found myself missing the most was the creative outlet that running a business social account gave me. All that to say: for reasons I’m not entirely sure of, 2024 felt like the right time to put myself out there, start creating again and see what happens. Thanks for following along and whether you love or hate what you see here, drop me a line sometime and let me know what you think.
